Our mission is deeply rooted in our belief that every life is precious and deserving of protection and a quality beyond a mere survival. While for many innocent animals even survival is at stake in today's crisis, we are determined to do our part in not only preserving their valuable lives, but helping them live safely, healthy and happy.

World Health Organization defines factors comprising an individual's quality of life as

We are convinced that a quality of life is not an exclusively human pursuit. We are certain that this fundamental concept is a shared belief and we welcome everyone to join us in this mission.

What is happening:

With the growing number of displaced and homeless animals, it is getting harder and harder to find loving homes and provide quality care for many of the animals in need.

Many volunteers work tirelessly to provide shelter and care for the animals, while being in the harshest conditions and without resources themselves. Without the support of a global community this task is desperate and nearly impossible.

In the current situation in Ukraine, the majority of the homeless animals will not find homes for a long time, many may not get adopted at all,  some are merely surviving, while others' survival is altogether at stake.

What we want to achieve:

Our greatest achievement would be in fulfilling our dream of giving these animals a safe home - a place where they are healthy, loved, fed, free to run and play. To achieve this, we are working on securing a few sites for future UAPPY Animal Preserves in the regions of Ukraine as refuges for the animals who are abandoned or displaced. By doing so, we also hope to aid urban shelters from overcrowding and create long-term living conditions for an enjoyable animal life.

This is the most significant project we envision for UAPPY, please visit our site to follow our progress and subscribe to the updates.
